Meet Isabella
Isabella is a 500-hour RYT with continued study in mindfulness meditation, yin, restorative yoga, and yoga philosophy. She trained intensively in Hatha and Vinyasa, and she is currently a student of traditional Ashtanga Yoga.
After completing her 300-hour training in India, immersed in the cultural and philosophical roots of yoga, her practice changed. It became less about the physical practice and more about the ethics and principles of yoga in daily life.
She considers herself a lifelong learner and is especially drawn to the deeper, more contemplative side of yoga — the path of Jnana, or wisdom. As your teacher, her goal is to offer practical tools you can take off the mat and into your daily life. She encourages students to move beyond postures and explore deeper states of awareness.
As a neuropsychology student, she is interested in how these ancient practices meet modern understanding of the mind and nervous system. Her teaching bridges both worlds.
Meet Antonella
At Gioia Yoga + Wellness Retreat, I step into the kitchen as an informal chef, cooking from the heart rather than from formal training. My love for food began in my home, watching my beautiful mother wake each morning and head straight to the kitchen.
She believed deeply that food was medicine, nourishment not only for the body, but for the soul. Inspired by her passion for simple, Italian meals, I will prepare seasonal, nurturing vegetarian dishes made with the same love I learned at her side. For me, cooking is an act of love. It is about bringing people together around a table, creating warmth, connection, and a sense of home. It brings me great joy to share that experience with each and every guest.
Meet
Barb & Simone
Together, Barb and Simone offer a playful and grounding space for movement. Their classes blend dance, music, and awareness, encouraging self-expression, creativity, and a deeper connection to the body. With a balance of form and freedom, the intention is simple: move your body and feed the soul.
